Siglec-15 is a DAP12- related immune receptor, belonging to the immunoglobulin superfamily and the Siglec (sialic acid-binding insulin-like lectin) family. The Siglec family is a cell surface protein that binds sialic acid. They mainly exist on the surface of immune cells and are a subset of type I lectins. Siglec-15 is composed of an immunoglobulin-like domain, a transmembrane domain, and a short cytoplasmic tail. Siglec-15 recognizes sialic acid glycans and regulates osteoclast differentiation. Siglec-15 is a potential therapeutic target for osteoporosis and has a conservative regulatory role in the vertebrate immune system.
This product is a mouse monoclonal antibody targeting Siglec-15 , which can be used for flow cytometric detection of Siglec-15 cell lines or the activity detection of Siglec-15 recombinant protein.
