Compared with traditional phage display technology, the yeast surface display system is a new method that combines random mutagenesis and combinatorial libraries to screen peptides and proteins with specific properties. It can avoid the phage itself and the target protein. Non-specific binding is an important supplement to the phage surface display system.

Application of Yeast Display Technology in SdAb Preparation :

In the process of obtaining sdAb using the yeast display system, we display the sdAb on the surface of the yeast, and after sorting the positive clones by FACS, we can obtain diverse antibody sequences by sequencing. This method can perfectly simulate the structure of all sdAb on the cell membrane surface, correctly reflect the binding of sdAb to antigens, and rarely occur non-specific binding of phage display libraries. In addition, the yeast display library technology also has more cost advantages when carrying out multiple sdAb screening work.
